beautiful view from front porch looking out....sadly one cannot "PhotoShop" out the power line that is crossing over this beautiful scene. I am very grateful to be able to live where I do. Sometimes the s--- clouding my mind causes me to forget. life is good indeed...
Dinner at The Hayes Street Grill, and then we walked around the corner to see La Traviata. Pictured here with friends Bona and Bernie. We are seeing Madame Butterfly in just a few weeks. I am beyond thrilled. I love you Richard. Dominique, the Pets and the Devine Maria!!

I must finish Richard's cashmere scarf (almost done!), finish 2 cardigans for myself and finish my second Port Ludlow sock. My goal is to finish these up by the end of the year so I can cast on for cardigan that I am going to make for my sister. I may need an intervention...
I used to be very monogamous with my knitting and not start another project until I completed one. When I am "caught up" I need to embrace this monogamy again. I guess there are worse "issues".
We adopted 6 young Silky Bantam hens from a co-worker of mine who could not keep them. They were born middle of May. The pretty white one is a rooster we have come to realize. All you can see of him in this picture is his back end, but he has all of the classic rooster characteristics- the red comb, the jiggly under-beek things and the early morning rooster noise.
