My knitting angel.....

I missed an opportunity recently to meet the Yarn Harlot Stephanie Pearl-McPhee at a book signing party at Copperfield Books in Petaluma, CA. The book signing was late in the evening and with my commute I decided to pass on my friend Madeleine's invitation to attend together. I was dissapointed, but I have to get up at 0400 and drive an hour to get to work. A few days later, while I was at work I had a visit from Madeleine and and nice surprise. She bought a copy of the "Yarn Harlot Casts Off" and had it signed for me! This made my day! So thank you dear Madeleine and thank you Stephanie. I love fellow knitters.

This blog is dedicated to my late husband Bob. I loved that he supported me in everything creative. I could put a great meal in front of him or a bowl of macaroni and cheese and he was happy and appreciative. He made me feel like everything I did was great.
