MUST SEE MOVIE
"The Visitor". I loved it. You can go to thevisitorfilm.com to see the trailer for a preview.
The Sonoma County Fair
I am entering two items in the fair this year- I feel so down-homey! A felted purse and a pair of lace socks. Stay tuned for pics. I am going to be adding them soon. I had the nicest day off and spent it walking my dog at the coast, came home and took a nap. Can you beat that? Life is good.

Yum Asparagus
Trim tough ends off bunch of asparagus and place on a cookie sheet that has been coated with non-stick spray; spray asparagus with more non-stick spray. Sprinkle with sea salt and freshy ground black pepper. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 14 minutes, rolling asparagus after 7 minutes. In a small sauce pan, melt 1 tbs. butter and cook until butter starts to bubble and brown. Add 1 tbs. Balsamic vinegar and 1 tbs. light soy sauce. Allow to simmer for about 30 seconds, then remove from heat. Place asparagus on plate and drizzle sauce over veggies. Yum.
