a fine example

I knit this up as a sample for my LYS (local yarn shop) Balls & Skeins in Sebastopol. Yarn is cashmere, silk and Marino wool. Samples are so much fun to knit up because of their small size and they provide a great example of how the yarn "knits up". This is about and 8"x8" square and was done in two evenings. The leaf lace pattern is beautiful and showcases this gorgeous yarn. The stitch definition is really nice. I am thinking that a scarf done in this pattern is in my future! The reverse side is pretty, too.
