hens o' plenty...sort of


We adopted 6 young Silky Bantam hens from a co-worker of mine who could not keep them. They were born middle of May. The pretty white one is a rooster we have come to realize. All you can see of him in this picture is his back end, but he has all of the classic rooster characteristics- the red comb, the jiggly under-beek things and the early morning rooster noise.
